so i've been on a quest to find a GOOD Japanese band over the past few months, and it's actually been quite difficult, i don't really know why but I haven't seen anything that has jumped out at me. just a lot of anime cover band (which aren't awful) but they have a definite generic sound to them.
and after wading through a lot of shit, i've found stuff a few links that I deem clickable - so click - and please let me know if you find anything that can give me a better impression of japanese music than typical j-pop/j-rock.
i'm not gonna put it all in a post either so look ... down there
