Nothing Ever Happened

bradford cox is a beautiful beautiful man.
r any of you out there familiar with the concept of a bro pod?
anyone up for some lax on the quad? lockett pundt and josh fauver are.

Deerhunter Late August. 2010 (past 10:00 no sub 21's) is propaganda. i will recite the encounter i had with bradford and co.

Club Doosh: (Directed to Me + Schoolyard Chums) YO, you guys have to leave.
Myself: We'll just be like a minute or two.
Club Doosh: No, you guys gotta peace NOW. (Combs Faux Hawk)
Myself: We're just trying to get some signatures here we'll be a sec.
Club Doosh: You're under 21 that means you're out! Theres no one signing anything, you're not gettin nothing signed.
!!!!!!!! (BRADFORD COX SITTING WATCHING THIS EVENT UNFOLD)
Bradford Cox: Excuse me, i am holding a pen signing their shirts....
Club Doosh: Yeah, well who the fuck are you?
Bradford Cox: PAUSES - wow this is just rude, we're going to be another minute here, because I am clearly signing their shirts.
Myself: (Directed to Bradford and Josh Fauver who has now sauntered over) I'm sorry we're too young guys, we messed things up.
Josh Fauver: This is not your fault for being too young. It's your fault for you not having a faux hawk and this guy for having the most bad ass hairstyle in the building.

BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH - trueskies.

NOW WATCH BRADFORD RIP APART THIS BRO

Oh Look Over There !

so i've been on a quest to find a GOOD Japanese band over the past few months, and it's actually been quite difficult, i don't really know why but I haven't seen anything that has jumped out at me. just a lot of anime cover band (which aren't awful) but they have a definite generic sound to them.

and after wading through a lot of shit, i've found stuff a few links that I deem clickable - so click - and please let me know if you find anything that can give me a better impression of japanese music than typical j-pop/j-rock.
i'm not gonna put it all in a post either so look ... down there

if u decide to not click on the stuff just watch 80tto - theyre great

antlers/national - boston

entering with average expectations, but leaving a die hard fan. the nationals boston appearance was amazing. June 4th at the house of blues in boston they demonstrated their laid back but still kick ass approach to a fantastic new album. I don't know who was better though; the main performance, or their opener. The Antlers delivered a surprise show that completely surprised me, don't let their meek appearance fool you, they pack a punch of meaningful lyrics and insane keyboards riffs. theres a really sad/interesting story behind their album; hospice, that manages to easily infiltrate your body and tell itself, as long as your willing to listen these guys won't dissapoint. shifting gears - matt berninger is the man. and as a dude im not afraid to say that his voice is damn sexy. plenty of classics from boxer, but also plenty of new stuff (bloodbuzz ohio 10/10) high violet was eerily good.
the drunk couple groping each other next to me could not distract from the quality of the album and the power it had over everyone in the audience. - this concert was 2 weeks ago but the music is still buzzing in my head - jolly good show
